Amaru Sabbenerica is a liqueur made from artichokes, bay leaves, lemon and other herbs. The artichoke liqueur has an intense and enveloping aroma from the first sip.

The word Sabbenerica is an old expression, or rather an old greeting. It literally means «bless you. » It was a form of blessing exchanged on the streets of the Sicilian lands. Usually the “sabbenerica” was answered with “a lei e all’amici” (to you and friends) or more rarely with “santu e riccu” (be holy and rich), as a form of wishing for a nice day.
